Whether you're brand new in your walk with Jesus or you've been following Him for years, baptism is your opportunity to fully embrace and proclaim your faith.
What is Baptism?
Baptism symbolizes your decision to follow Jesus Christ. It illustrates your union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. When you're submerged underwater, it represents dying to your old life. When you rise from the water, it signifies your new life in Jesus!
Romans 6:4 (NLT): "For we died and were buried with Christ by baptism. And just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glorious power of the Father, now we also may live new lives."

What Should I Expect on Baptism Sunday?
Our baptism services at Destiny Church are powerful, joyful, and Spirit-filled celebrations!
Arrival: You'll meet with our Baptism Team before the service begins to receive a brief orientation and ask any questions.
What to Bring: A change of clothes, towel, and personal items. Destiny Church provides you with a baptism T-shirt to keep and remember this special day.
During the Service: You'll enter the baptismal waters after worship. Our pastor or ministry leader will introduce you, briefly share your testimony, and baptize you in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Celebration: Our entire church family will rejoice with you as you rise up into your new life in Christ!
